Just read an interesting article on how if we are the beneficiary of a good deed, we are nicer to others, in fact 3 times nicer. Need to tell my wife about this….

We will be holding a 1 off collection point at Bewleys hotel on the 7th April between 1100 and 1730.

The article in the Yorkshire evening post contains a small error, you CANNOT pick up a book from the Bewleys hotel Leeds. You can only pick up a book from the Leeds tourist board offices in the station and the Alea Casino Leeds.

Other than that, it’s our first article in Leeds and great news all round.

The Leeds visitor centre

We are very pleased to announce our partnership with the Leeds Visitor centre (located in the Arcade, Leeds city station, LS1 1PL.) Where you can purchase a book direct from them (subject to a £5.00 fee) and walk out into Leeds and the surrounding area and instantly enjoy £1,000 worth of great vouchers.

Leeds book now shipping

We are very pleased to announce that the Leeds 2010 book is now shipping, we received the books last friday and our courier company (The Home Delivery Network) will be shipping them out on Monday with a 48 hour turnaround.

We have 2 shipping days, Monday and Wednesday and you should then receive your book within 48 hours from either of those dates.

Or you can collect a book from the Leeds Visitor Centre (their address is The Arcade, Leeds City Station, LS1 1PL) though please remember to bring photo id and proof of purchase with you.

PLEASE NOTE: To collect a book that you have purchased online, you must print your receipt and take it to a collection point with one form of photo ID. If you do not produce your reciept and one form of photo ID your book will not be released.

We advise you phone Alea prior to pick up and let them know you are coming. 0113 341 3200

You can BUY your book directly from;

The Leeds Visitor Centre, Leeds Train Station, 9am – 5.30pm

The Visitor Centre are a sales agent only and charge £55 for the book. Pick-ups for online sales cannot be made here.
